Yes, we provide the following:

-8 Rectangular Wooden Tables with 2 benches – can seat 6 people each

-8 Square Wooden Tables with 4 small benches – can seat 4 people each

-3 Tall Bar Wooden Tables with 4 chairs – can seat 4 people each 

Email us at contact@cedarbreaklodging.com with your preferred date. We suggest you include a backup date in case your preferred date is unavailable. Before booking a date, we hope you can come and visit us in person. Once a contract is signed, and deposit is received your date is reserved.  Dates are reserved on a first-contract-requested basis. 

Yes, We only host one wedding or event each day to ensure that each event is special and receives our full attention. All guests must be off the premises by midnight. 

Our Tobacco Barn was built specifically to hold ceremonies/events indoors and protect guests from the weather elements.  

Yes. When the contract is signed, a 25% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of the Base Rental amount is due upon execution of the rental agreement.  The final installment will be required 60 days prior to the event. Full payment is due by the specified due date. We also require a $500 refundable security deposit for any damages to the facility or grounds.

You must be accompanied by staff while touring the venue.

No, we provide a Venue Manager onsite to assist your hired professional team. Cedar Break at Howard Ranch strongly encourages you to hire a “day-of-coordinator”, or have someone who is extremely organized and familiar with weddings to help with logistics on the day of your wedding. We can provide you with a list if needed

The Cedar Break at Howard Ranch on-site manager’s role is to answer questions, watch the property, and act as point person for Cedar Break at Howard Ranch for all other vendors.  To keep restrooms clean and stocked during the event and take care of any venue related items immediately. 

Yes.  You can stay here with Cedar Break at Howard Ranch. Our lodging options include 15 Cabin Row Homes, 1 barn-styled home called the Old Bar N with 3 King Suites inside, 5 Airstreams, and 10 Resort Styled RV Pad Sites.

Yes.  All pets must be pre-approved by Cedar Break Management prior to your event. 

Yes. These are vendors that we feel provide exceptional service.  We will provide this to you once you have reserved your date with us. You ARE NOT required to choose vendors from this list.

Yes. You can bring in your vendors.  Please provide a list with names and contact information 60 days before your event. 

We are located at 23461 Ranch to Market Road 150, Driftwood, TX, 78619, approximately 20 minutes from downtown Austin.  We are easily located just off Highway 290, turn left at RR 12 and then turn left onto RM 150.  We share a driveway with Twisted X Brewery. 

Cedar Break at Howard Ranch is not responsible for the coordination of music. Our Tobacco Barn has built-in speakers where music can be played and managed by your DJ or day-of-coordinator.  The speakers in the Tobacco Barn can be connected to your electronic device via Bluetooth. 

All deposits are non-refundable.  The only exceptions are in the event of the death of the bride or groom, or if the Venue incurs structural damages that cannot be repaired before the event.  Otherwise, there are NO refunds on deposits made to Cedar Break at Howard Ranch.  We highly recommend our clients purchase Wedding Liability insurance for their guests/vendors as well as Wedding Cancellation Insurance to cover any unforeseeable circumstances that may prevent the event from taking place (e.g. inclement weather, sickness, etc).  Please check with your insurance carrier for specific details on Wedding Liability/Cancellation Insurance.

One hour for rehearsal is included in the contract and can be scheduled 45 days before your event date (pending availability and scheduled around other booked events.) If there is a wedding or event the day before your event, you can choose to hold your rehearsal either (1) the day of your wedding or (2) off-site the day before your wedding.  You can even have your rehearsal dinner at Cedar Break at Howard Ranch. All personal items, rentals, and vendor items must be delivered and loaded out on the day of your event.  If there is not an event scheduled the day before/after your event, you may have the option to have your items delivered/picked up at a different time but this must be approved in writing by Cedar Break at Howard Ranch during your final walk-through 30-15 days before your event.

Cedar Break at Howard Ranch has plenty of designated parking spaces, and plenty of room for overflow parking for larger events.

Cedar Break at Howard Ranch is a NON SMOKING venue.   

Yes, a discount can be applied when you and your wedding party stays here on-site in our cabins, suites, or airstreams.  Please contact us for more information. 

Yes you can.  They must be pre-approved by Cedar Break Management prior to your event. 

Yes.  Any outdoor music must end by 10:00 pm. 

Client is responsible for removing all personal items.
