CEDAR BREAK AT HOWARD RANCH

Wedding

Cedar Break at Howard Ranch isn’t a backdrop. It’s a place with bones — aged timber, hand-set stone, iron forged with intention — built by craftsmen who understood that what they made would outlast them. When you marry here, that weight means something.

The Property

Fifteen acres of Texas Hill Country hold everything your celebration needs without ever making it feel like an event complex. The oak canopy offers ceremony shade as old as the county itself. The Tobacco Barn — its heart pine floors laid plank by plank, its beams detailed the way a craftsman details a thing he’s proud of — sits ready for the reception. And when the music finally winds down, the Old Bar N opens its doors for an after-party that doesn’t ask anyone to go home yet.

"We've used materials sourced from Appalachia, Colorado, and Montana — because a place worth celebrating in should be made of things worth keeping."

Our Venues

THE OAK GROVE

A natural cathedral. Ceremony space under the interlocked canopy of Hill Country oak and cedar, with room for an intimate cocktail hour among the same trees.

TOBACCO BARN

Heart pine floors. Exposed structural timber. A handsome fire pit patio for guests who want the night air. Up to 120 guests, a 15-hour rental window, and a warmth that no tent or ballroom manufactures. This is what a barn wedding is supposed to look like.

THE OLD BAR N

A private western saloon housed beneath three appointed wedding suites. The after-party no one saw coming. Full timber frame, grain-barn proportions, and a room that knows how to hold a crowd that isn’t ready to say goodnight.

On-Site Accomodations

Your guests don’t just attend your wedding here — they stay for it. Fifteen Historic Row Homes, three Old Bar N Suites, and five Airstreams, and 12 RV spaces mean the whole wedding party wakes up together the next morning.

HISTORIC ROW HOMES

Fifteen workforce-row-home-inspired casitas built with materials sourced from Appalachia, Colorado, and Montana. Book the whole property and your wedding party has their own private little town — a detail guests talk about for years.

OLD BAR N

Three suites above a private western saloon, set in a full timber-frame structure. Each suite is appointed with a private bathroom with access to an outdoor balcony with unobstructed views of the Hill Country at sunset. Below, the saloon is private, well-built, and available to guests — the kind of room that doesn’t need an occasion to justify opening it, but tends to create one anyway.

THE AIRSTREAMS

Five Airstreams, tastefully updated for modern comfort without losing the character that makes it worth staying in. Everything you need, nothing you don’t — and a Hill Country setting that makes the small footprint feel like a deliberate choice rather than a compromise. For the guest who wants something a little different from a standard room and a lot different from a standard night.

RV PAD SITES

Bring your own rig and settle in. Cedar Break’s pad sites offer full hookups — water, sewer, and electric — alongside a private cowboy cooker firepit and Adirondack chairs waiting when you arrive. The property is yours to use the same as any other guest: the venues, the grounds, the General Store. You supply the vehicle. We supply everything worth coming for.
